The press has recently echoed (Le Parisien 3 August 2011) of the imminent demise of the building housing the oldest cinema in Boulogne-Billancourt (92), transformed into a place of worship since 1985 and whose beautiful room 706 seats remained almost intact ... In 1911 the Kursaal (its original name) opened Route de la Reine. This property was the most prestigious of the city, with his band of ten musicians present at all times in the late 20s! Thank you for a very interesting testimony! Indeed, in the book "The film and the Hauts-de-Seine" mention is made of a cinema at 107 Rue du Point du Jour, the "Ciné-Téné" between 1922 and 1932!
